Steve Kanaly

Steve Kanaly played the role of Jock’s illegitimate son and foreman of the Southfork ranch. During the Vietnam War, Steve was a radio operator attached to the First Air Cavalry. After he left the army, he became a technical advisor to the film Apocalypse Now and entered the acting profession from that job. His first acting role was in the film The Life and Times Of Judge Roy Bean..
